Method of Coaching
Chuck Wolfe meets with the organization member responsible for selecting coaches and with the supervisor of the person who is to receive coaching. Once the goals are understood Chuck meets with the candidate to be coached. Following these meetings a contract is signed for six months or longer.
Coaching includes ongoing conversations with the coachee, some in person, some on the phone. Assessments, 360 interviews with key individuals, and some shadowing are all possible and may be part of the contract.
Quarterly there are meetings with the coachee's supervisor to make sure coaching is on track and succeeding.
In sum, coaching starts with data analysis and includes planning, implementation, periodic updates and reviews, modification when necessary. Closure occurs when all goals have been met.
